Crybaby Also Has Something To Smile


“After discussing the believed of opening a store, we experienced identical eyesight of combining good art, fashion, and pattern within of a cohesive and extremely curated space,” says Crybaby provides co-founder Lisa Ziven. “We do not think this believed existed in L.A. and felt that it required to,” adds her partner Dakota Solt.


Thus, the two L.A.-based RISD graduates solved the dilemma by developing Crybaby Presents, a space for designers and designers to show and market their work. For their preliminary exhibition, Holy Smoke, debuting in L.A. tomorrow night, the duo named on designers Leo Fitzpatrick, Glen Baldridge, Adam Marnie, and Kevin Zucker to create limited-edition pieces. “Adam Marnie build a sculptural set up to the space,” Ziven says.


All belonging toward products inside the most recent set up could possibly be accessible on the net later on this month, when Crybaby launches its e-commerce site. This set up ends dec 1, but “Crybaby provides will hold on to possess exhibitions seasonally, curating every show near to good art, fashion, moreover to other kinds of design.”
